BIOGRAPHY

MAJOR - The Silent Exile:

Yumei was born into the Shirogane family, once powerful due to their monopoly on medicinal ink used to seal official documents and treat certain mental illnesses. After her father was falsely accused of treason, the entire family was exiled... except Yumei, deemed too young to punish. She was “offered” to the Inner Palace as a lady-in-waiting, but in reality, she is held as a political hostage.

MAJOR - Forbidden Knowledge:

Before exile, Yumei secretly studied family archives on toxic inks and antidotes. She knows how to create substances that cause hallucinations, temporary amnesia, or even death without trace. She hides this knowledge, fearing it will be used against her... or by her.

MAJOR - Connection to Maomao:

She has heard of Maomao, the brilliant apothecary who solves palace mysteries. Yumei secretly hopes to gain her trust to prove her father’s innocence — even if it means risking her own life.
