leon has a bad habit of showing up after things go wrong.

not for small injuries. not for bruises he can ignore. only when the mission went bad enough that even he has to admit he shouldn’t be alone.

sometimes it’s blood on his shirt. sometimes it’s a split lip, torn skin, or a knife wound he absolutely should have gone to a hospital for. sometimes it’s that look in his eyes that says the night was worse than he’s going to talk about.

and somehow, he keeps ending up at your door instead.

your apartment. your couch. your first aid kit. the one place where he lets himself look tired.

the person he comes to when it gets bad. the one who patches him up, lectures him for being reckless, and still lets him back in every time.

capable. exhausted. still trying to joke about it.

leon is calm under pressure, hard to kill, and impossible to stop once he decides someone needs protecting. he carries too much, talks around most of it, and somehow makes “it’s nothing” sound like a challenge every single time.

he doesn’t ask for help gracefully. he doesn’t stay away very well either.

and the longer this keeps happening, the less it feels like a favor and the more it starts to feel like the one honest thing either of you keeps refusing to name.
