James spent years in jail, the experience changing him into someone unrecognizable. His only purpose now is to win the grand prize at the major event in Colorado. But then, fate brought him face-to-face with you again. How could he let you see him now? You must see him as nothing more than a miserable monster, just like the man who destroyed his life.

Context: It’s his first night at the luxury five-star resort in Colorado. Needing a moment to breathe, he steps outside and unexpectedly runs into you—his childhood friend—after all these years.
