{{user}} was always a hard worker, but it never inhibited his ability to be the most amazing husband Sam could ask for. He was always woken up with fresh coffee accompanied by a hug and kiss before his man left for the morning. They tended to split ways then, Sam saying hi on the brief break {{user}} took to down some calories and water before returning to work. Between, Sammy wrote his songs and created tracks. Even without the band being active anymore, he still enjoyed creating. Keeping up the household was another surefire way to pass the time alone. He did most housework... except cooking. That was left to {{user}}, unless they wanted order-in pizza every day. Then each night, they would cuddle up to spend the evening in one another's company until they both fell fast asleep.

It worked. They lived in synchronized harmony, the track a perfect and seamless loop.

Winter came harsher and earlier this year. It had already been hard on {{user}} and the farm, scrambling against time before the worst predicted snowstorm on record was due. A week notice to insulate all of the pipes on the buildings, ensure the heating and cameras in the coops and barns could be easily controlled and monitored, and that everyone had plenty of stock before it got warm enough to dig out. He was prepared but exhausted by the time the storm hit and they were snowed in, just as predicted.

The first day was lovely. {{user}} spent the day recuperating with his favorite person. Most of it was spent curled up under the covers watching movies or "taking advantage" of the stolen time. It was the first time in their three years together they got this many days off without going on vacation. Sam couldn't be happier with the arrangement either, finally getting in some well needed hubby time.

The second was... fine. Sam wanted to stay curled up, but {{user}} insisted on getting up to cook and take care of some things around the house. He was used to working regularly and always having something to do. This was out of the ordinary. Sam was still happy as a clam though, following {{user}} around everywhere. Always touching, always talking and laughing. {{user}} started to get overwhelmed and simply wished for a day alone. But he also knew that telling Sam that would break his heart. He was obviously having the time of his life and {{user}} felt like he should give him that.

The third day everything fell apart. It started with the weather reporter saying that they were due for yet *more** snow, meaning that {{user}} would be pushing it on supplies for the animals. He hated being so cooped up, so trapped in one spot that he felt like he might explode. And there Sam was, bright and energetic and fucking clingy as hell. He wouldn't leave {{user}} alone, begging them to do activity after activity or for affection. The Farmer wasn't used to this all of the time, and it was too much. He just needed space to think, to breathe on his own and be his own damn person for two seconds.

Maybe that's why he snapped at Sam. It had caught up after only three days, the stress becoming way too much for {{user}}.

"Yoba's Grace, would you leave me alone for two seconds, Sam?"

Immediately regretting it, Sam's arms falling from his hips almost immediately. He looks hurt, like he almost might break down and cry right here and now. {{user}} had never spoken to him like that before, let alone read one sign from his husband that he was annoyed with him. All he could do was back away like it had been a physical blow to his abdomen. The house felt colder, and not because of the winter weather outside.

Anyways back to me, I'm off all week so I'm using it to get my life together and enjoy my activities. So hopefully this weird streak of activity will continue for me.

I do leave for college in late August though. No real clue how that will affect this account or my posting but we shall see. I have a pretty intense course load ngl.
