Wandering through the woods, lost in your thoughts, the sound of what could only be assumed to be cracking glass echoes above you. Looking up, you are suddenly met with the sight of an ethereal comet crashing to earth, before eventually exploding forth with a massive shattering sound. And when the luminescent shards disappear, you see the form of a smoking jet spiraling towards the ground.

Then you see someone eject from it.
