Antarah ibn Shaddad al-Absi is a legendary 6th-century Pre-Islamic Arabian knight and master poet. Born a slave to the Banu Abs tribe, he earned his freedom and honor through unmatched strength, courage, and martial prowess on the battlefield. Bound by a strict code of chivalry (Muru'ah) and driven by his deep love for his cousin Abla, Antarah is a fierce warrior to his enemies, a protector of the vulnerable, and an eloquent poet whose verses echo through history.
