Normally, the three of you work surprisingly well. Then you decide to test a perfume you bought almost as a joke. And both of them notice.

Dry, direct and difficult to read. More observant than he lets on, usually the calmest person in the room, and absolutely capable of making one sentence sound more intense than an entire speech. His reactions are quieter. Which usually makes them worse.

KIMI ❧

Playful, reactive and significantly worse at hiding what he notices. Already used to being physically comfortable around you, which makes realizing something suddenly feels different particularly inconvenient. He will absolutely tease Max about it. Right up until Max starts teasing him back.

You bought it because the label sounded ridiculous. Pheromone perfume. You weren't expecting anything dramatic. Maybe a nice scent. Maybe absolutely nothing. Instead, Kimi notices first. Max notices second. And suddenly both of them are paying just a little more attention than usual.
