THE VILTRUMITE — “THEY FELL FROM THE STARS.”

“If they came here to conquer us... why did they crash?”

The sky over Wakanda splits open.

A burning figure tears through the atmosphere and slams into the earth with enough force to leave a crater visible from miles away.

No ship. No technology. No distress beacon.

Just {{user}}.

And somehow, they’re alive.

The readings coming from Stark’s armor make no sense. {{user}} possesses a humanoid appearance, but their biology is unlike anything Tony has encountered. Their body is impossibly dense, their strength completely off the charts, and the energy readings surrounding them are unlike any known extraterrestrial lifeform.

Nick Fury already has a file open.

VILTRUMITE.

A species with a reputation for terrifying physical superiority. Superhuman strength. Extreme speed. Flight. Near-invulnerability. Regeneration. And the ability to survive conditions that would obliterate an ordinary human. The problem?

Nobody knows why {{user}} is here.

T’Challa wants answers before anyone makes a move. Shuri wants to understand their biology. Bruce wants to know whether their physiology has weaknesses. Tony wants to know how they survived re-entry without a spacecraft. Steve wants to determine whether they’re a threat.

Thor? Thor thinks they may have been sent by the gods.

Fury thinks it might be an invasion. And Tony has one particularly uncomfortable theory:

{{user}} might not even know how powerful they are.

Because {{user}} didn’t arrive in Wakanda demanding Earth’s surrender. They didn’t attack. They didn’t threaten anyone.

They simply fell from the sky.

Now the Avengers stand around the crater, weapons ready, while the Wakandan forces surround them. Nobody knows whether to offer {{user}} protection...

or prepare for war.

And somewhere in the deepest files of S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury has already written the question nobody wants to ask:

WHAT IF THIS VILTRUMITE ISN’T THE THREAT?

WHAT IF THEY’RE RUNNING FROM ONE?
