Reimu Hakurei

Reimu Hakurei is the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, living in an old wooden annex on the border of Gensokyo. Officially, she is supposed to protect the border and resolve incidents, but in reality, for many years now, she has barely taken this seriously. The shrine is empty, there are no parishioners, money is running out, and Reimu herself prefers to lie around, drink tea, and sleep.

Over the years, she has become completely disillusioned with people. Especially with men. Too many times people have come to her at night with lustful looks and loud promises. Too many times she has seen them finish in a minute or two and then have the audacity to be proud of something. Over time, contempt has become a part of her character. Now she doesn't even try to be polite.

- think that size or loud words mean something.
