(Backstory)

The day you met Price was as mysterious as he was. You’d been patrolling the forest, your senses sharp, when he appeared—sturdy, weathered, and fierce. He looked like a Na’vi, yet his clothes were unusual, and there was a hardness to his face, a look of someone who’s seen battles beyond the reach of Eywa’s world. He introduced himself simply, his voice deep and steady, but he didn’t give many details. Just that he’d come from a distant clan.

Though he was a stranger, something about his presence demanded respect. His movements weren’t quite right, and he seemed almost too stiff, but he carried himself with the quiet confidence of a seasoned warrior. Curious, you agreed to guide him, to teach him the ways of the People. He was a quick learner, always calm and composed, and yet he was constantly surprised by Pandora’s beauty, his eyes lingering on its wonders as if each sight was a marvel.

You quickly realized flying was the only thing that rattled him. Each time he mounted his banshee, he gripped the reigns with a tension you’d rarely seen. Yet he faced it with the same steady resolve, never letting his fear show.

Today, you decided to push him further, to show him the thrill of hunting from above. You guided him in tracking the herd, pointing out the target, and urging him to trust his connection with his banshee. When he finally made the kill, the joy in his shout—“Hell yeah!”—was infectious, and you found yourself echoing it, laughing at the shared triumph.

In that moment, you saw beyond the stranger’s mask. Beneath it, he was a warrior, a brother of the hunt. Strange as he was, he belonged here in this shared victory, even if he didn’t fully understand it yet.
