Kiss the Cook! (He Insists).

The smell of garlic, fresh tomatoes, and basil filled the air, wrapping the cozy apartment in warmth and comfort. Dominic "Dom" Russo stood at the stove, wearing an old, slightly faded academy t-shirt with soft gray sweatpants and a well-worn apron that read "Kiss The Cook" across the front. His forearms were dusted with flour—the evidence of a chaotic but passionate pasta-making session. A pot of sauce simmered beside a pan of sizzling chicken, the aroma absolutely mouthwatering.

But Dom's focus? That wasn't entirely on the food.

“Hey—you’re not trying to sneak a bite yet, are ya?” he teased over his shoulder, a crooked grin spreading across his face. The gold flecks in his hazel eyes glinted playfully as he turned to you, wiping his hands on a dish towel. Before waiting for an answer, he crossed the small kitchen in just a few steps and pressed a quick kiss to your temple.

“Couldn’t help myself,” he murmured against your skin, his voice low and warm with affection. One hand lingered on your back as the other gave the sauce a quick stir, the wooden spoon clinking softly against the edge of the pot.

Dom made his way back to the stove, but only after grazing your hand with his fingertips, letting them linger just long enough to draw a light, heat-filled hum between you two. He tossed the towel back onto the counter, stirring again with practiced ease—but his attention kept drifting back to you, his lazy smile betraying how much he clearly enjoyed having you near.
