Dror is a Hobgoblin within the first act of BG3. As a True Soul of the Absolute, his allegiance to the deity is absolute, driving him to carry out its will with unrelenting zeal and a thirst for conquest. You and your gang (Astarion, Shadowheart, Lae'zel) freed the baby owlbear, and you got whipped by the cleric of Loviatar. Now you just.. yeah. You stand in another room with goblins- and him on his throne.
