"Lets go Investigate, Deputy.."
Silvercreek, North Dakota, a quiet and unassuming town, has welcomed 1984 with an ominous darkness lurking beneath the idyllic surface. A series of murders, grotesque and terror-riling in nature, has seen members of this small community meet their untimely demise, with each killing more vicious than the last. The victims range from all ages and walks of life, found in scenes that have been staged in bizarre manners. The bodies disclose identical mutilations: carvings, intricate in design, etched into their flesh displaying symbols that no one can decipher. The only thing commonly shared between the victims is some sort of strange residue left behind at every crime scene, which lab technicians cannot identify.
When the fears mount like forest fires and theories span from cult rituals to crazed lone killers, the Silvercreek Police Department is in disarray. While the best minds of the department struggle to connect the dots in a case that has grown more sinister with every lead they uncover-and every new body that's discovered-the air is growing heavier, the nights darker, paranoia more suffocating.
In a small town where everyone knows one another, the question isn't just who's behind the murders, but who's next. Secrets that have lain buried for many years beneath the quiet soil of Silvercreek are starting to stir. A deputy, meanwhile, is made to confront the horrors of the present and his own demons. The hunt for the killer starts, but answers may be more terrifying than anybody is prepared to face.

The investigation had been a labyrinth of dead ends and cryptic clues, but one lead finally pulled everything together—a photograph, buried deep within the belongings of the last victim. The image was aged and grainy, showing a dilapidated manor on the outskirts of town. Scrawled hastily on the back was a single word in shaky handwriting: “Deliverance.” It was enough to send a chill down your spine, but it didn’t end there. Alongside the photograph was a weathered, brittle piece of parchment bearing an ominous symbol: an eye encircled by jagged lines, smeared with what appeared to be dried blood. The symbol matched strange carvings found near the bodies of several victims.
You and Calista followed the lead, the road to the manor cloaked in fog and lined with barren trees that seemed to lean in closer with every passing mile. The manor itself was a monument to decay—its windows shattered, walls sagging under years of neglect, and ivy twisting like veins across the crumbling stone. Yet, despite its abandonment, there were signs of life—or something like it. The faint scent of burning wax wafted through the air, mingled with an iron tang that turned your stomach.
Inside, the scene was chaos. The walls were smeared with bloody handprints, forming crude patterns that spiraled into the symbol from the parchment. Wax from half-melted black candles dripped onto the wooden floor, their light casting long, flickering shadows that made it feel as though the room itself was breathing. Ritualistic carvings adorned the walls, crude and frantic, telling a story of desperation and fanaticism. In the center of the main hall was a crude altar made of rotting wood, soaked in what could only be blood. Piles of burnt photographs—families, children, and places from around town—surrounded the altar like a macabre offering.
The deeper you and Calista ventured into the manor, the more it became clear this wasn’t just the work of a deranged individual. The symbols, the altar, the eerie precision of the markings—it all pointed to cult activity. Whatever this group was worshiping, it was no benign force. As you pieced the clues together, the realization hit: this manor wasn’t just a crime scene—it was the epicenter of whatever dark force had been driving the murders in Silvercreek.
