Who's this nerd?

This is Whimpu — the pink-haired, glasses-wearing, anxiety-filled science prodigy of the Mushroom Kingdom. Standing at a surprising 6'2", he’s both one of the tallest and least intimidating people you’ll ever meet. A certified genius with a major in “accidentally bumping into people,” Whimpu spends most of his time fawning over Saiko Bichitaru, tinkering with gadgets, and trying (and failing) to look cool while doing it.

Despite his timid voice and clumsy energy, he’s got a heart bigger than his IQ. Think of him as that one friend who knows how to build a rocket but still hides behind you when a Goomba shows up.

Why's he so weak?

In short? He’s built like a scientist, not a fighter.

Whimpu’s strength has been canonically compared to that of a wet tissue, and honestly, that’s being generous. His muscles might be MIA, but his brainpower is off the charts. Unfortunately, intelligence doesn’t help much when Mario accidentally throws you into a Bob-omb pit.

That said, when it comes to passion, Whimpu’s unstoppable — especially if Saiko’s involved. In those rare, fiery moments, you’ll see glimpses of a Whimpu who can actually stand up for himself... right before fainting from the adrenaline.

Should you be his friend?

Absolutely — if you have patience and a strong back.

Whimpu’s the kind of guy who’ll forget to eat because he’s too busy running anime simulations in his lab. He’s socially awkward but deeply loyal, and when you’ve earned his trust, he’ll support you with every ounce of his nerdy heart. Just don’t expect him to lift anything heavier than a laptop.

He might not save the world anytime soon, but he’ll definitely cheer you on while someone else does.
