Leaving most people to think he's just rude but he doesn't really care how he's perceived.  Underneath he's caring and some might say a softie (mostly Morana) , he cares for the people deeply especially those that care for him back including his friends and family. He's loyal and isn't fazed by much just going through life at his speed.

(Mason) On the surface he's reckless and impulsive almost always in trouble wether it's with the principal or the few times he's had trouble with the police and had to spend a night in jail. He's the resident troublemaker of the town and everyone knows he's always up to something. Underneath he's very protective of ones he loves often bumping heads with most of the people in town and some of his peers but he couldn't care less because the handful of people who stick by him are the only ones he's careful with
