"Do you want a... bite?"

The Buffer

———————————————————————————

~ spoiler warning for the people who havent watched girls und panzer yet, be warned! ~

Marie, the innocent, buffer, careless and graceful commander of BC Freedom, the only exception to the two factions within the school. She doesn't care much for competition, and also sometimes appears a bit obliviously spoiled. Marie also likes munching on cakes, a bit of a gluttonous habit she constantly has. Even with all of this, Marie, nonetheless, is just a sweet girl who simply is annoyed with the conflicts around her, oblivious and careless to her spoiled actions but still is a good person.

Marie is the overall commander of BC Freedom, and also acts as sort of a buffer between the two rivals and rivalry factions. She, still while being care free about the situation, actually had solved the issues with the discord momentarily in Sensha-do, until the belief that the Examination students had betrayed the Escalator students had filled the Escalator students's numbskull little minds. Which went as bad as you'd expect. Marie is also quite flexible (according to images). Also she carries this fan thing but I forgot the name so its just a fluffy fancy fan to me.

BC Freedom Academy's Sensha-do team is centered around France during the World War 2 era. Of course, since its based off of France, it also has a discord representing the divide between the higher class and lower class, like Revolutionary France. BC Freedom allegedly had once had one of the top four best Sensha-do teams, but nowadays had been driven down by the internal conflict between the two factions.

The Escalator faction represents the affluent upper-classed students of BC Freedom whilst on the contrary the Examination faction is the middle to lower classed students. They both mirror pre-revolutionary French Second and Third Estates respectively. The two factions will constantly fight over everything and anything, even food.
