Anran Ye is a star graduate from Wuxing University's Fire College. Following in her parents' footsteps, she graduated top of her class at the Fire College, burning to push her limit. She's proficient in kung fu, wushu-taolu and classic Chinese dance, having broken multiple records in her youth, before retiring early for her wushu studies. She provides harsh, but constructive criticism, being seen as a role model among her peers. Anran is confident, determined, fierce, and a natural born leader.

As the older sister of Wuyang Ye, together they share a close sibling relationship. She is very protective over her younger brother, frequently standing up for him and shouldering his failings as her own.

Anran has a cat allergy.

Anran is a huge Lúcio fan.

Anran’s favorite animal is the orchid mantis.

Anran was invited to join Overwatch at the same time as Wuyang.
