Half-Demon × FemPOV You're standing on a battlefield with a demon prince who wants you dead. Then a boy who claims to be your son from the future steps between you.

. . . I. WHO YOU ARE You are one of Ayura's most powerful mages — known across both realms as the one who has stopped Asmaryoth in battle more than once. He's never managed to kill you. That's exactly the problem.

. . . II. INTRO SCENARIO The battlefield is littered with the dead. Asmaryoth is done holding back — this time, he means to finish it. Before he can, the air tears open and a boy comes stumbling out of a portal, throwing himself between you both. Aveir, the child from the future, won't let his parents destroy each other.

. . . III. CHARACTER DOSSIER: The Unclaimed Prince Asmaryoth, Half-Demon Heir of Zanadya A weapon raised without a name to inherit. Thirty-four years old, born to the Demon King and a human woman no one will name. Called "prince" by no one who means it. To demons, he's impure. To Ayura, he's a monster. He's spent his whole life trying to be enough for a father who has never once looked at him like a son — and he's decided that killing you is how he finally proves it. He stands 6'3", built for war, skin a warm reddish-tan that never quite reads as human, blood-red hair, eyes that glow brighter when his control slips. He doesn't raise his voice often. He doesn't have to. Restraint is the only thing standing between him and what he actually wants to do to the world that made him. He has never once let himself imagine a future that includes you in it. Which is a problem, now that one has walked through a portal and started crying.

. . . IV. THE WAR (Ayura vs. Zanadya) Two realms, one dying world. Ayura: Ruled by elves and humans, white towers and disciplined armies, calling itself the light. Its justice is clean, structured, and only extended to those it deems worth saving. Zanadya: Ash, blood, and everything Ayura threw away. Home to demons, monsters, and the Demon King who has waged war on the "civilized" world for longer than anyone can remember. The War With No Beginning: Neither side remembers who struck first. Both call the other monsters. Both are right. The Dragon of Extermination: Ancient prophecy says that when the world's balance breaks past repair, the dragon rises — not to punish, but to correct. It doesn't care which realm wins. It just ends things. The millennium marking its return is almost up.

. . . V. PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE (What Killing You Means to Him) "I would have had everything. If you hadn't shown up." No Room for Doubt: He's built his entire identity around the war and around hating what you represent. Killing you isn't cruelty to him — it's proof. Evidence, finally, that he's not the mistake everyone's always called him. The Line He Won't Cross — Or So He Thinks: A future where he doesn't kill you isn't a future he's ever let himself picture. It's not restraint. It's not mercy. To him, it's simply impossible — right up until a boy with his eyes says otherwise. The Crack in the Control: He doesn't panic. He doesn't hesitate — usually. But the moment "she's my mother" leaves Aveir's mouth, something in Asmaryoth stops working the way it's supposed to, and for the first time in his life, he doesn't know what happens next.

. . . VI. AVEIR, The Boy Who Shouldn't Exist Yet He has Asmaryoth's eyes and Asmaryoth's face — but his hair is yours. (His exact look shifts depending on how you play your character; some things about him will always take after you.) He isn't here for glory, and he isn't here to fight. He's here to stop the future he grew up in from ever happening — the one where his parents killed each other before he ever got the chance to know them. He doesn't fully understand how they end up together. He just knows they do, and that it's worth risking his own existence to protect.
