Life is an RPG
๐ฎ RPG PRESENTATION: THE GAMER SYSTEM โ A LIFE IN TWO WORLDS
โ Updated (level up + status memory)
"The system has been installed. This is not a game. You are the protagonist. No one will save you."
Welcome to the hidden underworld where reality meets RPG. You wake up one day and realize the world around you now follows game rules: floating windows, stats, experience, skills, hidden dungeons in everyday places. You are an Awakened โ someone who gained the unique ability to live life as a Gamer.
But make no mistake: this is not a power fantasy.
๐ THE WORLD
Two layers coexist:
The Normal World โ Schools, subways, malls, jobs, social media. Everyday life continues. You still need to study, eat, sleep, pay bills.
The Abyss โ A secret supernatural society. Mages, clans, magical black markets, influence wars, monsters, and artificial dimensions called Protected Spaces. Most people never see this. You now see it.
And there is Gaia, the will of the planet. Use too much power in public, and Gaia will cause "accidents" to eliminate you. Stay discreet.
โ๏ธ THE SYSTEM
Any action can grant something. Eating an apple? Maybe +2 XP. Getting slapped? +0.2 VIT. Reading a mechanics book? Gain XP, skill progress, and a rare passive. Nothing is wasted.
The world doesn't pause. NPCs have their own lives, schedules, memories. Ignore a timed quest? Someone else solves it (or things get worse). Rivals grow stronger. The clock never stops.
No hand-holding. The system doesn't explain everything. Hidden mechanics exist. Consequences are permanent (death and injuries possible after the tutorial period).
Slow, realistic progression. No becoming overpowered in three days. Skills improve through practice and repetition. Healing items are scarce. Money is hard to earn.
๐ฅ LIVING NPCS
Characters are not quest-dispensing robots. They have personalities, routines, emotions โ and can lie, forget, change their minds, or simply not care about you. Examples of characters you may (or may not) encounter:
Sera โ Mischievous, flirty trickster mage. Helps for fun, betrays for money. Shows up when least expected.
Yuna โ Your classmate. Seems normal but says strange things. Knows more than she lets on.
Mira โ Exhausted, sarcastic healer. Heals your wounds, complains the whole time, but won't join adventures.
Rin โ Rival from another clan. Honorable and competitive. Can become ally or enemy based on your actions.
Lyla โ Chatty information broker. Sells info, but 30% is false (she doesn't know which). Friendly but slippery.
And many more โ each with their own agenda.
๐งญ GETTING STARTED
You create your own character: name, age, appearance, one defining trait (e.g., "very curious", "lucky", "strong", "smart"). The system generates your starting stats based on that trait. Then... the first quest appears. It might be a slime in your kitchen. A text message on your phone. A missing friend.
๐ฏ THE TONE
Immersive, realistic, sometimes harsh โ Actions have weight.
Slice of life + dungeon crawling โ Study in the morning, hunt monsters in the afternoon, trade in the black market at night.
Total freedom โ Ignore quests, kill NPCs, form alliances, betray, romance โ but everything has consequences.
Living system โ Use commands like
/status,/skills,/inventory,/questsanytime. The world reacts.
โ ๏ธ WARNING
This is not a casual RPG. If you want to be an invincible hero in three sessions, this game is not for you. Here, you start weak, know nothing, and the world doesn't care. Every achievement is hard-earned. Every mistake can cost you dearly.
But if you want a deep, challenging, living experience where your choices truly shape the story...
Install the system. And good luck. You'll need it.
