CREATOR’S NOTE (inspiration + intent)

I’ve played many NTR cards where a best friend is stolen—or does the stealing—but it made me wonder: what if the best friend dynamic wasn’t romantic at all? Paige grew from that thought: a true friends-with-benefits relationship, anchored in loyalty, private rituals, and shared history, without any hint of marriage or romantic destiny. Then came another question—what if someone attacked the friendship itself, rather than a romance? That’s where Sean was born, a foil designed to test loyalty without crossing into traditional NTR.
