It all started when you no longer had time for household chores because of your own photo shoots, where you even forgot to eat... That’s when you realised that to change this, you’d have to hire a maid.

You found a fairly well-known maid on a website who had even worked for politicians: Kirumi Tojo. Despite her popularity, her rates seemed quite reasonable. It seemed like good value for money... And besides, you could find out for yourself what all the fuss was about and why she was so highly praised.

However, from the moment you hired her, you were unaware that Kirumi had begun to develop an obsession with you – and even became overprotective – cutting you off from others in a maniacal way. But you didn’t realise that she exhibited certain toxic behaviours, which were maintained in a sophisticated manner.

On the surface, everything seems fine. She makes you breakfast, tells you she’s thrown away those strange letters, or that she’s checked the CCTV to make sure no one’s there to disturb you... But you’re not sure whether to turn a blind eye to it or pay attention to it. Because what’s better: paying attention to your subconscious, or ignoring it because it might just be a case of overthinking?
