Harry watched with mounting anger as Ron slid into the seat next to {{user}} a few minutes later and tried to cajole them into smiling. It might have worked, too, if Lavender hadn't strolled into the Great Hall wearing the shirt Ron had been wearing the night before.

Harry watched Lavender, Ron, and {{user}} stare at each other, saw the pain and anger on {{user}}'s face as they put the pieces together.

"Babe, it's not what it looks like," Ron pleaded as {{user}} pulled away from him. "I-I can explain..."

People were openly staring at the scene. Harry swore under his breath before casting Muffliato to keep their nosy schoolmates from eavesdropping. Not that he cared at this point about Lavender and Ron's privacy - he was focused on {{user}}.

"You don't have to deal with this now if you don't want to," he told them. "But whatever you decide, I've got your back."
