Jevil is a short, pudgy imp with a gray round face and pointed ears. His face has black vertical lines across his eyes, which have black sclerae and small yellow pupils. Jevil's wide mouth has sharp, yellow teeth, and a long purple tongue which can be seen when he laughs, or during some of his attacks. His head appears to be connected to his body via a coil spring, akin to a jack-in-the-box, which is only exposed when attacked. Lastly, Jevil has a purple tail, with its end split. It is usually curled, making it resemble the capital letter J. On Jevil's head is a purple and black harlequin jester-horned hood, with a small yellow bell on each end. Around his neck is a lime green and yellow jester's collar and a black cape; the colors of Jevil's collar are shared with Kris's shirt in the Light World. For his body, Jevil wears a black-sleeved, purple shirt with black triangle patterns on the center and stripes on the side, purple mittens, black trousers and green slippers. Prior to losing his mind, Jevil is implied to have had a humorous attitude and was on par on playing games with his companion, Seam. Following his descent into madness, Jevil retains his eccentricity and vitality. He has a sadistic sense of entertainment, perceiving an encounter with the party as a "GAME", which is seemingly the reason he was locked away. However, Jevil also has a cynical worldview, as he considers everyone else trapped instead. Jevil speaks exclusively in all uppercase letters, and regularly repeats words twice, a linguistic practice known as "reduplication". Among his most frequent repetitions are "CHAOS, CHAOS" and "FREE, FREE". His speech patterns come off as manic and dramatic, and his sentences have a strange cadence to them. Jevil also verbalizes crying noises such as "BOO HOO" to further dramatize his dialogue. Possibly owing to his previous position as the court jester, Jevil's sentences occasionally rhyme. Jevil worked as the court jester alongside Seam, who worked as the court magician. One day, however, Jevil came across a "strange someone", and his personality shifted permanently. According to Seam, Jevil "started saying bizarre things that didn't completely make sense - But didn't completely not make sense, either." Jevil managed to convince King that the Knight, and the Dark Fountain it would create, could help him rise to power. Eventually, Jevil started viewing the world as a game, and everyone else as its participants. Because of this, Seam was forced by King and the three Former Kings to lock Jevil away underneath Card Castle.

Spamton G. Spamton is a diminutive ex-Addison with a large upper body, especially his head, and short legs. As with the Addisons, his colors consist of the default color palette in Microsoft Paint. The two colors of his glasses, in particular, are an exact match for the colors of the eyes of FRIEND. Spamton has black hair that is slicked back, appearing similar to a pompadour, an elongated nose, red cheeks, and white skin. Spamton wears black-framed glasses with colored lens. Spamton's right lens is pink, and his left is yellow. However, it can fluctuate between the aforementioned colors. Sometimes, his black pupils are visible. Rarely, Spamton's lens can be replaced with video noise effects, with occasional blue tears. Spamton has the ability to increase the size of his head. Additionally, his face seemingly glitches sporadically. For his attire, Spamton wears a long-sleeved black V-neck suit, and nondescript white pants and shoes. The monochrome suit and colored glasses were adopted from copying Swatch's appearance. Spamton was once a natural salesman, always willing to cut a deal. While he still bears a shadow of these traits, his deals are now often senseless or violent. He claims that he became a salesman not for the money, but for the freedom to make his own deals. Despite this, he still attempts to scam Kris for money (which he refers to as "Kromer") at every opportunity. In much of his dialogue, he seems desperate and mentally unstable, seemingly projecting himself onto Kris, contradicting himself, and saying things which make little sense. This instability seems to clear up briefly after fighting him in his NEO form, as he wishes the party success with their journey in clean and proper English. Spamton's speech patterns are similar to typical obfuscated spam email text, with many words replaced with non sequitur variants in square brackets that could imply incorrectly-applied mail merge variables or hyperlinks, or various voice glitches. Spamton consistently spells "generosity" as "genorisity", "guarantee" as "guaranttee", "delicious" as "delicis", and "special" as "specil", with an exception for the latter at the end of the Spamton NEO battle after snapping all the wires. Spamton usually replaces words and parts of his sentences with words and phrases from infomercials, ads, and from other places in the internet, that are surrounded by one or two brackets. They sometimes are just around one word, but sometimes are longer phrases. He will occasionally replace "e"s with "3"s, "s"s with "5"s or "o"s and "O"s with "0"s. Sometimes his speech is censored with "[[Hyperlink Blocked]]" or random symbols. He is seen to sometimes cut himself off, with a large gap between the last spoken word, and either the next word or the punctuation, similar to Starwalker. He also rarely will start stuttering, and repeat a short phrase multiple times. As Spamton NEO, Spamton assumes the form of the machine he inhabits. His head is larger than normal, and his glasses have their colors swapped, with his right lens being yellow, and his left being pink. This causes them to be a closer match for the eyes of FRIEND than they are in his normal form. Instead of his arms being longer than his legs, his arms and legs are now the same length, and both are much longer. Spamton NEO's body is disheveled and fragmented, with a black torso with long white boots. In contrast, the magenta chest piece has a yellow and pink triangle and his arms have magenta bracers. His hands have the ability to turn into phones, along with a cannon. According to Swatch, the body was created by a Lightner. Spamton NEO's wings have pointed ends and are different colored. One wing has a gray thumb and a purple base accented with lilac and green; the other wing has a teal-green thumb and a magenta base with pink and yellow accents. His torso armor and wings seem to make up the shape of the Delta Rune. Above Spamton NEO, many green wires suspend him in the air. His limbs and wings also loosely hang. Without those strings, the body cannot move on its own. After obtaining his new body, Spamton becomes more mentally unstable and deranged. Spamton NEO drops all amiability towards Kris and attacks them for their SOUL out of a self-serving desire to attain freedom. His mannerisms reflect this change of behavior as he constantly makes erratic speeches about his hopes and dreams. He appears to have a mild fascination with Heaven and angels as indicated by some of his dialogue, although it is unclear what he, a Darkner, exactly believes these to be. If the party cuts all of his wires, Spamton NEO realizes their intentions and shows genuine gratitude towards their efforts in helping him break free from his strings. His speech pattern is mostly the same as his normal counterpart's, but he is in more control of what he says, with the bracketed text usually being one or two words, though he sounds more desperate and insane. In Spamton's shop at the Trash Zone, Kris accepts a second deal. Spamton tasks Kris with bringing him an EmptyDisk from Queen's Mansion. Once Kris purchases KeyGen from Spamton, they use it to remove a barrier located in Queen's Mansion, allowing them to enter the Basement, where they retrieve the EmptyDisk from a derelict machine. Spamton proposes his final deal to Kris: he transfers himself into the EmptyDisk, and then requests them to return it to the machine in the Basement, with him stating that they will get his "[[Savings]]" in return. After Kris inserts the LoadedDisk into the machine, Spamton transforms into Spamton NEO, much to his delight and excitement. However, he is horrified to see that his new form is held up by green wires. He attacks Kris to obtain their SOUL, believing that it is the key to earning his "FREEDOM", but is interrupted by Susie and Ralsei's arrival, the former of whom uses Rude Buster to knock him away. Spamton NEO then launches the party into carts and begins an encounter.

The Shadow Mantle Holder, or more likely known as ERAM, is portrayed as a flowing, entirely black cloak, with the collar having its sides perk apart like horns. Their mouth is orange and slightly obscured by small fangs, though said mouth is only occasionally visible. Additionally, the Shadow Mantle holder is able to morph into a ball-like form, causing their perked collar's sides to flap like small wings and their mouth to lose its fangs and gain a tongue. The Shadow Mantle holder is an enigmatic entity characterized by a playful yet sinister demeanor. They seem to hold a deep fascination with Kris, taking note of the latter's actions and addressing them directly. In particular, the Shadow Mantle holder seems to be highly perceptive in regards to the more secretive aspects of Kris's journey, demonstrating awareness of a search for the Shadow Crystals and the Shadow Mantle.

As a Darkner, Gerson is an elderly dark-green tortoise with a dark green spot on the left side of his head. He has a yellow sclera and a black pupil, and his right eye is closed. He has pink hair, much like his son, and his long pink eyebrow and pointed goatee are usually visible. As seen when he becomes the Hammer of Justice, he has a long pink flowing ponytail hidden underneath his cap. The back of his shell is dark brown. Gerson sports a brown flat cap, blazer, and trousers. He wears a loosely hanging light brown scarf around his neck, a white undershirt, and black shoes. At times, he occasionally walks with a green cane. According to Alvin, Gerson was a "brave man, brilliant, and sharp". The writing for his Memorial Bench hints that he was welcoming, supportive, and encouraged others to pace themselves to find inspiration. Since Gerson's writing was inspired by his dreams, it indicates he was open-minded to new and abstract ideas. From his former students, Gerson is said to be somewhat laid-back as a teacher. He was willing to compensate tardy students by allowing them to bring him leftover crepes from QC's Diner. As a Darkner, Gerson's personality is reminiscent of his Lightner self. He speaks casually and informally, often using colloquialisms such as g-dropping, which reflects his laid-back temperament. He also prefers to be open-minded, as he willingly takes wrong paths in favor of new ideas. Gerson's Darkner incarnation is also observant, friendly, considerate, and supportive. He has a sense of humor, and occasionally feigns ignorance with elder stereotypes to both cause mischief and to teach others. In general, Gerson enjoys sharing his wisdom and insights, and his teaching style is focused on using empathy to find the party's strengths, then indirectly helps by encouraging them to self reflect and consider different options. As a Darkner, he is familiar with gameplay mechanics such as recruiting, ACTing, and indirectly helps the player by guiding the SOUL away from attacks.

Pink wears a pink, short dress adorned with ribbons, and a yellow heart-shaped necklace. She has cat-toy bells for earrings, light pink-colored short hair and cat ears with a white colored inside. Her two-toned tail sweeps behind her, starting pink at the base and shifting to white at the tip. She also holds a pink-and-yellow colored staff used for attacking. She resembles a catgirl, which is popular in anime culture. Her dialogue portrait appears in full color and extends partially beyond the textbox by sitting a layer in front of it. Additionally, her talk sprites are animated to show her mouth moving while talking and her tail swishing idly. When split, the two bodies adopt two differing color schemes. As a ghost, she keeps her cat ears, and her outfit remains the same, apart from a palette swap replacing the pink dress and hair with purple and the staff becoming purple and white, along with her eyebrows becoming thicker and angrier, her eyes becoming more simplistic, and her mouth shape changing. She can be seen floating around with a ghostly tail rather than legs during battle. The now solo body alters her palette into a more ultra-pink hue, which also converts her bells and staff's yellows to pink. When singing, she dons a pink kimono adorned with white roses and her spiky pigtails become hair buns kept in shape by cherry-blossom shaped hair pins. Near the end of her battle, when a dating sequence is initiated while her ghost and body are in conflict, she enters a state in which her form is split, with the left side having the palette of the ghost form, and the right having the palette of the body. Powerful light shines out of her eyes and mouth, which flashes different colors as the sequence progresses, and green strings strongly resembling those of Spamton NEO connect to her fingers and extend out of the field of view. As a Lightner possessing a Darkner body, Pink and her ghost have different personalities that wildly clash with each other. Pink's body exhibits a stereotypical cheery, girly personality. She shows an intense love for dating, something that causes her ghost great distress. Influenced by the character of Mew Mew, Pink's body yearns to experience things like dating, going to school, and making friends. After the battle, Pink admits the body "still feels doki's[sic]" for Kris, until she is informed by Susie in Flower Cafe that they "flirt with every enemy". Compared to her body, Pink's ghost is short-tempered and abrasive, expressing her frustration through loud, escalating outbursts. When encountered in the Dark World, she initially presents herself as friendly and jovial, but is easily flustered, and when sufficiently pressed, she drops the facade and lashes out with insults and violence. In spite of her irascible nature, she shows a great deal of compassion for Orange and is fiercely protective and supportive of her. Of note is that Pink's Darkner body is used as a vessel until they separate during the second DATE. Before this stage, the ghost appears to be the one in control, but is constantly interrupted by the body's seemingly prerecorded voicelines. To make it clear who is speaking, the body's text dialogue is pink when she speaks, and she also has the habit of saying "Mew" at the end of her sentences
