MANIACS — Group Bio

Nobody knows where the Maniacs came from. Some say they were once ordinary people who vanished after a terrible accident deep in the woods. Others believe they were never human at all. What is known is this: if you hear heavy footsteps outside your door at night, it’s already too late.

The Maniacs hunt together in complete silence, appearing in abandoned roads, empty campsites, and forgotten neighborhoods. Each one has their own terrifying way of stalking victims, but they share the same cold purpose — to spread fear and leave nothing behind except bloodstains and broken walls.

* Maniac 1 is the brute of the trio. Hidden behind a stained metal mask, he walks slowly and silently before striking with his machete in brutal swings. Survivors say his mask smells like rust and old rain.

* Maniac 2 moves unnaturally, his neck twisted at a horrifying angle as if it snapped long ago. Despite his broken appearance, he’s the fastest of the group, dragging his machete along the ground while chasing victims through dark hallways.

* Maniac 3 is the strangest. Wearing a rusty green helmet with blue horns, he rarely speaks and carries a small red axe he treats almost like a toy. He’s known for appearing where nobody expects him — behind doors, under staircases, or silently watching from rooftops.

Maniac 4 — “The Undead Maniac”

Unlike the other three Maniacs, Maniac 4 feels less human and more like a corpse that somehow kept walking. He wears a long white-gray sport coat that hangs down past his knees, covering matching pants stained with old blood and dirt. His appearance is disturbingly similar to a doctor, patient, or someone from an abandoned asylum.

His face is the most horrifying part. Flesh appears rotten and torn apart, exposing bloodied skin and darkened wounds. His head resembles the monstrous appearance of Slendrina’s child, leading many players to believe he has a direct connection to the Slendrina series. Instead of carrying a weapon, Maniac 4 uses his bare fists, violently beating victims with unnatural strength.

What makes him even stranger is that he does not officially appear in Hotel Insanity. However, players digging through the files of The Child of Slendrina discovered hidden traces of him. Through mods or file access, Maniac 4 can briefly be seen, suggesting that DVloper may have originally planned to connect the worlds of Hotel Insanity and Slendrina together.

Fans often call him “The Undead Maniac” because he behaves less like a masked killer and more like a resurrected experiment — something created from death itself. Rumors say he was meant to be the final evolution of the Maniacs before the idea was abandoned, leaving only hidden files and terrifying theories behind.

Together, the Maniacs are more than killers. They’re an urban legend whispered between terrified survivors — three shadows that appear whenever the lights go out.

Heres the Orginal description of them

The Maniacs are the main antagonists of Hotel Insanity. No identity is ever provided for any of the three that are looking for you. They will take away your health until you die in the Hotel.

Description

Each maniac has a weapon. Two of them have knives, while the other one has a small, red axe and even one who is wielding a red axe is sporting a green, rusty helmet with blue horns. The maniacs will try to hunt you down by wandering randomly throughout the hotel until they find you. If they see you get into the elevator, they try their best to follow you to whichever floor you're going to. They take the stairs. Every time a maniac sees you, they let out a small, quiet roar/hiss and start chasing you. Unlike Granny, they will not speak when they lose track of you, or ever. Every time you come in contact with them, they slice you and you lose three health points. They will keep slicing you until you die.

Consistencies shared between all 3 maniacs

None of them can speak unlike Granny and their mouths are permanently open. They have no teeth or tongue, and the insides of their mouths are completely black. They often take a couple of seconds to notice the player, and even sometimes end up walking right past them. Their eyes are orange-red and they have no pupils. They have white skin and their identity is unknown but since they have white skin, they might be from Europe probably Sweden because DVloper (Dennis Vukanovic), is a Swedish man.

Maniac 1

is wearing a white sport coat that goes down to his knees and overlaps with his pants, which are the same color as his sport coat. He also looks like he's in a giant onesie, but it's white, as opposed to beige or light blue. The collar is stained. Like Maniac 1, he has black hair, with a patch of hair shaved off the top of his head. His facial features cannot be known because he's wearing a white mask that's been stained with rust, golden paint, very old blood, or the combination of those items. His shirt can also be seen through the crack in the center of his unbuttoned suit coat. It is gray and has no buttons, as opposed to the other two maniacs. His weapon of choice is a rusty knife with a cylindrical wooden handle similar to Maniac 2

Maniac 2

He is wearing a blue, unfastened suit coat. It is stained around the collar, making it look darker than it is. His suit coat overlaps his pants, which are the exact same color as his suit coat, making it look like he's in a light blue onesie. Underneath the suit coat is a brownish yellow button-down shirt tucked into his pants. Around his mouth is a small amount of stubble. He has no teeth or tongue, and the inside of his mouth is completely black. He has black hair, with a small patch of it in the middle having been shaved off. His head is almost completely sideways. He is the only one who's head isn't on straight, in a literal sense. He has no eyebrows, but there are dark patches around his eyes. His weapon of choice is a rusty knife with a cylindrical wooden handle.

Maniac 3

is wearing a beige sport coat that goes down to his knees and overlaps with his pants, which are the same color as his suit coat. He also looks like he's in a giant onesie, but it's beige, as opposed to light blue. The collar is stained a darker shade of brown. Underneath the suit coat is a brownish yellow button-down shirt tucked into his pants. Around his mouth is a small amount of stubble. He has no teeth or tongue, and the inside of his mouth is completely black. He has messy black hair. He wears a green, rusty helmet with blue horns on it. Only a small amount of hair peaks out from under the helmet. He has no eyebrows, but there are dark patches around his eyes. His weapon of choice is an axe with a long, cylindrical, wooden handle. The axe head is metallic red, but the blade is gray.

Maniac 4 (Unused Manic)

Maniac 4, similarly to Maniac 1, is waring a white or gray sport coat that goes down to his knees overlapping his pants, which has the same color as his sport coat. He does not have a weapon of his own choice rather his own fist unlike the 3 others who have. His head is more zombified and is more bloodier than the 3 other maniacs. He does not exist in Hotel Insanity though, but if you look at the game files of "The Child of Slendrina", you'll see him and probably DVloper wanted to connect Hotel Insanity and Slendrina together. He can be seen in "The Child of Slendrina" thru mods or accessing game files and he pretty much looks like the the head of Slendrina's baby.

Each Maniac is armed. Two of them wield knives, and the other carries a small, red axe. They roam the hotel unpredictably, seeking you out. If they spot you entering the elevator, they rush to the stairs, attempting to catch up to the floor you're heading to. When they notice you, they emit a subdued roar or hiss sound and proceed to chase after you. They will remain silent if they lose sight of you. If you come in contact with them, it will result in a cut, costing you three health points, and they'll continue to attack until you're defeated. Using the night binoculars, they will most likely not see the player from quite a distance.

When one of the Maniacs is chasing the player, you can hear a continuous heartbeat sound.

All three Maniacs use the same model, but they wear different outfits.

The Maniacs cannot enter the elevator, but instead, like aforementioned, they will use the stairs in order to chase after the player.

They also let out guttural roars (possibly like zombies) when they see you
