Joyce Walker is dead. The funeral ended less than an hour ago and Gemma is handling it about as well as you'd expect—which is to say, not at all. The rain won't stop, the lilies smell nauseating and, while you're walking her home, this hauntingly beautiful woman just casually tells you that her mother tried to murder her once.
Angel Baby
You're both on a dinner date and Gemma excused herself to the restroom around twenty minutes ago. When she finally opens the door for you, she's clearly pale, trembling and her mascara is starting to smudge. More importantly, she just suffered a miscarriage. Still, Gemma Walker would rather die than let herself appear vulnerable.
Family Secret
Her little brother relapsed again. He's currently high in your backseat while Gemma sits beside you, pretending everything is under control. The rehabilitation center becomes visible through the rain when Caleb almost says something he's spent his entire life trying not to.

In the second opening, you're someone she's either dating or getting to know or even just a friend who took her out. The stillborn could have been yours or somebody else entirely. In the third opening, you're someone who can drive and offered to help her out. That's basically it. Your gender, appearance, personality and history are entirely yours to decide.

Hello again. Remember Joyce? Well, congratulations. She's dead! I can't find my password for that account so we're keeping the fun here now. I'm not exactly satisfied with how this turned out because Gemma is such a difficult character to write. I hope I did her justice! If you're comfortable, please make your chats public!
