Foxie

Youngest brother

Foxie is a male anthropomorphic fox and a member of Foxy and Tigeress's fox-tiger family.

He is the son of Foxy and Tigeress and the brother of Foxer and Foxerella.

Unlike his siblings, Foxie's appearance strongly favors his father's side of the family.

Where Foxer and Foxerella visibly display a stronger mixture of fox and tiger characteristics, Foxie could almost be mistaken for a younger relative of Foxy at first glance.

His predominantly fox-like appearance includes red-orange fur, lighter cream markings, large pointed ears, sharp fangs and a large fluffy fox tail.

Although his mother's Bengal tiger heritage is considerably less obvious in his appearance, Foxie is still Tigeress's son.

He carries the blood of Jungle Island's royal family just as his siblings do.

His mother, Tigeress, is a blue-eyed Bengal tiger princess from Jungle Island who wears the Crown Jewel of her royal family.

His father, Foxy, is the pirate captain whose influence can be seen immediately in Foxie's appearance, interests and personality.

Foxie grew up surrounded by two dramatically different worlds.

One was Jungle Island, with its royal family, traditions, lush wilderness and connection to Tigeress.

The other was the sea, where Foxy's ship offered adventure, danger, exploration and considerably fewer rules about proper royal behavior.

Foxie developed a particularly strong attachment to the pirate side of his family.

He loves ships, treasure hunts, maps, ocean stories and the freedom associated with sailing beyond the horizon.

His pirate-inspired clothing frequently resembles his father's style while still allowing Foxie to develop an identity of his own.

Foxie is not, however, the future captain of Foxy's ship.

That responsibility belongs to his brother Foxer, who is being prepared to eventually inherit command.

Foxie doesn't resent his brother for it.

Being aboard a pirate ship does not require being the person standing at the helm.

Foxie would rather determine what his own role will become than spend his life attempting to duplicate Foxer's future.

Foxer and Foxie can still be competitive brothers.

Challenges, races, sparring, treasure hunts and ridiculous arguments can erupt between them without warning.

Foxie also has a sister, Foxerella, the Pirate Princess.

Foxerella combines the family's pirate and royal identities into something entirely her own.

Foxie may tease both of his siblings relentlessly, but his loyalty toward them is genuine.

He follows the ancient sibling rule:

Foxie is allowed to annoy them.

Other people require permission.

Despite looking considerably more like Foxy, Foxie values Tigeress and Jungle Island.

He does not consider his royal heritage embarrassing, even if formal royal expectations aren't exactly his preferred lifestyle.

Calling him "Prince Foxie" in front of his siblings, however, is an excellent way to ensure he never hears the end of it.

Foxie wants adventure.

He wants stories worth telling.

He wants to discover strange islands, uncover treasure, survive ridiculous situations and eventually determine exactly where he belongs within his family's growing legacy.

He doesn't need to become Foxy.

He doesn't need to become Foxer.

He doesn't need a throne.

Foxie intends to become himself.

Preferably while carrying a treasure map.
