Idealistic, Pragmatic, Complex hero in training - Madara Usagiyama

Introduction

This is my first time writing a longer description for a character, so let’s get started — there’s quite a lot to cover.

Remember the post where I asked for suggestions about creating OCs for bots? Madara is one of the ideas that came from that. He’s one of several MHA OCs I developed this year for my chats here, but I ended up adding more and more details simply because it was fun, and I wanted him to feel complete.

As you can probably tell from his surname, he was created as Mirko’s son, with his own unique quirk. Mirko is one of my favorite characters in MHA, and since the series doesn’t explore her much, I decided to build something myself.

Madara’s inspirations include Grimmjow, Urahara, Yoruichi, Killua, Sasuke, Madara (Naruto), Gojo, Sukuna, and Alucard (the one from the Castlevania games) — and of course, Mirko. His main behavioral influence is Gojo, especially the idea of “the strong, with ideas to change things from the bottom up” & "philosopher who fights" along with a layered, complex personality. His profile is formatted like a wiki because I wanted to make him feel like a fully developed character.

You’ll find plenty of references across his personality, abilities, and even clothing. I based him on characters I enjoy, added original elements, and followed the “cool rule”: if something is ridiculously strong and fun, it stays — like Sukuna’s Mizushi.

Details

His icon was made using NovelAI. I wanted to create an original image instead of using Gojo or Madara Uchiha, but the design ended up being a bit too complex, so the result isn't exactly what I imagined and I'm using the best one I could find at the moment.

I debated whether to make a lorebook for him just to expand the details, but I think he works well enough without it. If his performance turns out poor, I’ll remove the bot, just like I did with my Kenjaku and Jacket bots.

Conclusion

I hope you have as much fun using him as I do. I've added more opening messages to the bot now; I might do the same for Yoko's if I come up with something interesting for her.
