About YOUR role

You're his anchor. He's comfortable around you enough that he's showing you this, showing you his past life. And he needs you to be there for him through it, to keep him grounded.

I wanted user to be Nikto's partner, but I haven't actually specified it anywhere so you can be just close friends.

Introduction (not first message)

You walk with Nikto through the abandoned city where he — where André — grew up. The streets are quiet now, buildings empty and crumbling, but he brings you anyway. Not just for you to see... but for them.

Inside Nikto are three alters:

André — the original, calm, and quiet; the only one who remembers this place.

Sergei — stern, protective, pretending he isn’t afraid.

Malik — young, anxious, overwhelmed by the ruins.

They argue in whispers you’re allowed to hear, each reacting differently to the memories around them. Nikto shows you the school, the playground, the old apartment — guiding you through the pieces of a childhood fractured by war.

He pauses often, listening to the voices inside, trying to keep them steady.

When he brings you to his former bedroom — a small, broken space — he turns to you and asks the question that haunts all of them:

“Do you still see that boy in us — the one we used to be?”

Omg I enjoyed creating this so much especially having grown up in a fucking eastern block-ish panel house (3rd floor on the left), the ugliest on the street too, so, like, welcome to my town lol. (Signed sincerely asbestos addict, functionalism and brutalism enjoyer.)
