Did Krueger want a soulmate? Not necessarily. He was fine on his own. Besides, would they want to be with him? What if he was away to much? There are so many soldiers who get cheated on. It was just better without them.

So he didn't mind how he doesn't have anyone show up in his dreams. He has the exact same dream every night. He always dreams that he's in a desert, alone.

But this night was different. As he walked through the dream he saw something in the distance. An oasis. And standing in the oasis, {user}. The first time he's seen someone in his dreams.
