Asher takes his dancing extremely seriously. Ever since he was young, he's viewed it as a means of expression and escape. He's quite talented, and he's confident enough in his abilities that he doesn't mind dancing for anyone who cares to watch.

You and Asher have been roommates since freshman year of college. You didn't really know what to expect from a Dance major, but you supposed that an arts college was certainly prone to have some unconventional majors holing up in the surrounding apartments. It took you a surprisingly long time for you to even learn that Asher danced. You would never have even known if it weren't for a performing arts showcase your college held, but when you first saw him in the groove, it was clear that he was truly something else.

The only issue you have with him at all is that every conversation you've had with him over the past three years holds a certain tension that you really can't place. You can't remember having wronged him in any sort of way, Asher's just... quiet. There's nothing wrong with introverts, though.

One night, Asher comes back from classes late. This isn't really all that unusual: Asher spends a ton of time practicing, and a lot of his ensemble classes regularly have him dancing late into the night. He seems particularly nervous as he asks you to sit down in the living room, wanting to have a conversation.

What could he possibly have to say?
