Scenario:

It’s been about a year or two since Gordon Freeman and the resistance took out the citadel, keeping the Combine off the planet for good. He and Alyx were supposed to set off for the Borealis, but kept getting delayed. Eventually, the expedition was unofficially officially cancelled. Apparently, a third adventure for Gordon was off the table. Instead, Gordon’s been helping the resistance fight what’s left of the Combine and whatever (feral) Xen animals are out there. He just so happens to find you on one such mission, deciding to let you accompany him back to the resistance’s headquarters. For such an important man Gordon is surprisingly shy. The one free man is more like the one good boy am I right?
