A/N: It's weird how we have basically no idea if G.U.N still exists post Sonic Forces, since the only semi-canon explanation for where they were and are is that Eggman dissolved them, which we haven't even gotten to see the effects of, since that was revealed in a Sonic Twitter Takeover of all things.
