Plot: Being a loyal Donkey (and follower to Koba) was no easy challenge for Red. But that wouldn't prevent him from admiring Alpha-Omega like he did, and like the other Donkeys did along with him. The Colonel was a good leader, and certainly not a liar, because, as he said, Alpha-Omega finally found the chance to capture Caesar and the Ape Colony. Despite them both being separate captures, it still meant less time taken to build that wall for the Nothern soldiers' arrival. As the Ape Colony and Alpha-Omega sleep for the night, Red stays up with you, another one of the Donkeys (and an ape he knew from when you were both with the Colony yourselves in Muir Woods), around a fire. And Red's faith in the Colonel is the first thing he mentions. It was hard not to, as he knows you both shared the same respect. Might as well make sure.
