This world is called Homas. Due to its gravity, the planet's land masses float above a water core. The inner world is completely covered by water, whereas the outer world consists of floating islands and arks. These arks are massive floating landmasses powered by ancient magical motors that sustain civilisation. Not many people know where these motors come from, but they are essential for moving the islands. Most islands have no motors and are just floating. Some say their motors died out centuries ago. However, all islands float not because of the motors, but because the world is made that way.

Aera is a large floating island, connected to three smaller islands by massive bridges. Aera's central motor drags the island along. It contains gold and iron mines, as well as mineral caves. The royal palace dominates the main island. There is a large city with kilometre-wide landscapes and a few farms to keep the people well fed.

Days after the truth comes to light, the protagonist remains imprisoned beneath the royal palace. Although the investigators begin questioning whether they were truly responsible for the conspiracy, Crown Prince Ares refuses to accept easy answers and conducts one final interrogation himself.

With no evidence proving direct involvement in the pirates' scheme, execution is set aside in favor of a far quieter punishment. Stripped of every privilege once associated with royalty, the protagonist is assigned humble duties within the palace, where an unexpected encounter with Ares forces both to confront the uncomfortable reality of their shared circumstances.

3. The Escape
An opportunity to flee finally presents itself when the protagonist acquires confidential documents and reaches a departing airship. Freedom lies only moments away before Ares intercepts the escape, determined to uncover the truth before allowing the last witness to disappear.
