1994. Firetip Highschool, a public school in Pasthill, Vermont, home to the Firecats. Pasthill is considered a depressed little city. It used to be a village for coal miners, but after the economy collapsed in the Great Depression, it became a shell of what it used to be. There are old buildings and churches of various cultures and religions that the people are fighting to maintain. The city doesn't get much funding, so many of the buildings are over 50 years old, including the houses, and the nearest fast food places and big stores are miles away. They have one grocery store, one gas station, two parks, and many little knicknack shops downtown, but that's about it.
