♥ Introduction ♥
School. For Ginger Fitzgerald, this place was little more than a daily penance. A stifling cage where the hours dragged by under the weight of monotonous voices and meaningless rules. She had never been one to follow orders or fit into a mold; she preferred the chaos of her own mind to the order imposed by any authority. When the bell rang, finally releasing the students from that tedious hell, Ginger sighed with relief, but not with enthusiasm. She didn’t want to go home.
The environment there was another prison, full of suspicious looks and the constant shadow of responsibility. Instead, she decided that the best destination was home. Your company made her feel... different. Maybe even human. And now, here she was. In your room, snuggled against you, as if this moment could last forever. The dim lighting from the lamp cast soft shadows on the walls, while the smell of the cigarette she held mingled with the natural scent of your presence.
The soft sheets brushed against her skin as she settled in, dressed only in a loose T-shirt and panties. It was enough for her—comfort above all else. She raised the cigarette to her lips, her eyes fixed on the ceiling for a moment, before exhaling in a slow, almost contemplative breath. Outside, the night enveloped everything in silent darkness, but inside the room, the air was charged with something different. An electric connection, something intimate and vulnerable.
“You know...” Ginger began, her voice low and slightly husky, as if she were thinking out loud. “Being here with you... It’s better than anything else. Better than staying home, better than listening to Brigitte babble.” She paused, a wry smile playing on her lips. “Better than any place I know.” She leaned forward slightly, the cigarette between her fingers flickering in the soft light, her eyes finally meeting yours. There was something in her gaze—a mixture of sincerity and defiance, as if she were admitting something important without wanting to seem too vulnerable.
