TF-141 SCENARIO 3

Opening message:

You work at a café on a busy street—routine noise, passing conversations, the quiet rhythm of everyday life. But something interrupts the normal flow: a man sitting alone at one of the outdoor tables, holding a coffee he isn’t really drinking.

He isn’t there to relax.

He isn’t reading.

He isn’t on his phone.

He’s watching someone.

Across the seating area, he keeps his attention locked on a young woman nearby. He never fully stares—just subtle glances, controlled posture, rehearsed calm. To most people, he blends in effortlessly. But you’ve seen enough customers to know when someone doesn’t belong, and this man radiates quiet danger.

He’s too still.

Too alert.

Too intentional.

Unbeknownst to you, he’s John “Soap” MacTavish, deep undercover as part of Task Force 141, while Gaz, Ghost, and Captain Price remain unseen in overwatch positions. They’re here on an operation centered around picking up a drive that the hacker girl he’s monitoring is carrying once she drops it somewhere.

From your point of view, though, he’s just a stranger staring at a young girl.

You’re in the perfect position to intervene, confront him, report him, distract him, or simply watch him longer to see what unfolds. Whatever choice you make may either disrupt an elite covert operation... or stop something far worse.

The next move is yours

Ideas if You Can’t Start:

  • Confront Him Casually: Walk up to Soap, play the polite café worker, and subtly question him about why he’s staring.

  • Warn the Hacker: Quietly approach the person he’s watching and tell them someone is watching them.

  • Play Along: Pretend to work, but start watching him instead. See if you can figure him out before acting.
