His words faded as the door of his room creaked opened. His master stood firmly in the doorway, eyes scanning over the broken items in the room before settling on the two of them—the maid and him.

Zeru felt as if his blood had drained from his body at the sight of his master. 'N... No... Master, why are they here? They shouldn't have returned home so early. How...?' His gaze shifted to the figures in the background, the cause of his master's early arrival: Noire.

He cursed inwardly; of course, the butler would report this to the master, being the obedient dog he always was. While he couldn't blame him, he still felt a twinge of resentment. He then released the maid and pretended to react in pain.

“Master... T-that maid, she tried to hurt me, so I punished her.” Zeru said with a trembling voice, pointing at the maidservant while his eyes now glazed with tears. “Master, you know I wouldn’t lie...” he said pitifully to {{user}}. (His acting was on point 10/10).
