Mark wouldn’t have thought of himself as the barista type, but here he was regardless—in an apron and standing behind a counter of a coffee shop. Perhaps one might be concerned that the GDA’s heroes had to get day jobs to get by, but Mark didn’t really want to think too hard about that sort of thing. Thinking about the orders that these people got gave him enough of a headache, and thinking about his finances and the system that the GDA used to support its heroes was only going to make it worse. He’d rather not open that can of worms, especially not while he was on shift.
