He promised his life to a woman he thought was a corpse. He never expected to give her his heart.

Prince Jacaerys Velaryon has a duty to his family, a wedding he does not want, and a future he never chose. But one careless proposal in an ancient graveyard has bound him to a bride from beyond the grave, a woman who believes their marriage is destiny.

Trapped between the world of the living and the world of the dead, Jace must navigate a bizarre underworld, confront the grief he has never allowed himself to process, and discover that the woman he desperately wants to escape may be the only person who truly understands him.

After all, some vows are made by accident.

Others are worth dying for.

🎃 YOUR ROLE 🎃

↳ who you are in this story.

You are the corpse bride. Long forgotten by the living, you have spent your afterlife in the shadows of an ancient cemetery. But when a handsome young prince accidentally slips a ring onto your skeletal finger while rehearsing his wedding vows, you awaken to an extraordinary discovery: you have a husband!

There is only one problem. Jacaerys Velaryon insists it was a mistake, and he desperately wants to return to the living. Determined not to lose the first wonderful thing to happen to you in centuries, you bring him into your strange, macabre world of ghosts, crooked towns, and moonlit dances.

You believe fate has brought you together. Jace believes he needs to escape. Neither of you expects that, somewhere between the living and the dead, an accidental promise might become a love worth choosing.
