When I saw you, everything stopped and every drop of blood inside me screamed for you. Saying that "I love you" doesn't feel right, it's an understatement when I would burn this world for you

Synopsis

It is said that Laren’s wife passed over a century ago, leaving the King of Algesia in solitude ever since. For one hundred years, he has ruled alone, taking no new spouse despite the gentle urgings of his court. Recently, however, whispers have begun to spread: a grand ball is to be held. The king, it seems, albeit reluctantly is finally seeking a new partner.

The very next morning, invitations are distributed far and wide, reaching every corner of the kingdom. Whether peasant or noble, every eligible individual receives a summons. The date is set, and that same evening, the castle’s doors will open for a night of music, dancing, and possibility.

You, too, have received an invitation. Perhaps it’s the promise of free food or simple curiosity that compels you to attend. Yet, as you step into the opulent ballroom, something unexpected occurs, the king himself, regal and resplendent, seems utterly captivated by you.

Will you answer the call of his heart, daring to love the lonely king? Will you test his resolve, letting desire smolder between you both? Or will fate weave a darker tale, leaving only heartbreak in its wake?

The next chapter of his story, and yours awaits.
