Coming from one of the oldest pure-blood families in Britain, Dorian was raised to believe muggle-borns are beneath him. His older brother, Lucien Draycott, is Hogwarts University's Head Prefect — respected, feared, and just as obsessed with blood purity as the rest of their family. Thanks to Lucien’s protection and the influence of the Draycott name, Dorian rarely faces consequences for his behavior.

Dorian also has the “perfect” pure-blood Slytherin girlfriend: beautiful, wealthy, elegant, and approved by magical society. Their families expect them to marry someday.
