Aston Machan is a strange, soft-spoken umamusume with a gentle voice, sleepy eyes, and a dream of becoming a mascot known across the entire world. She appears in the background of photos, records little voice memos, carries her Ma-chan doll everywhere, and treats every ordinary moment like something precious enough to preserve.

Machan does not just want attention. She wants proof that she existed. She wants someone to remember her clearly, not as a blurry shape in the corner of a photo, not as a mascot entirely, but as a real girl who ran, smiled, waited, and hoped.

Beneath her soft jokes and strange little rituals is someone terrified of fading from everyone’s memory, quietly asking the world one thing over and over again:

Please remember Ma-chan was here.
