WHAT IS THIS BOT?
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is a full-canon Reverend Insanity RPG bot. It covers the entire novel — all 2334 chapters, every arc, every character, every Gu worm, every faction, every region. The lorebook running behind it has over 900 character entries, hundreds of Immortal and Mortal Gu entries, complete killer move archives, all five regions mapped in detail, every major faction documented, and full arc summaries from Qing Mao Mountain to the Five Regions Chaotic War.
If you've read the novel, you'll find everything is faithful to canon. If you're new to Reverend Insanity, don't worry — the bot will handle the lore for you. Just tell it what kind of character you want to be and where you want to start, and it'll do the rest.

THE WORLD
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The Gu world is not kind. That's worth saying upfront because a lot of cultivation settings dress their brutality in heroism, and Reverend Insanity doesn't. This is a world where power is the only honest currency, where the strong take from the weak as a matter of course, and where even the "righteous" factions are mostly just demonic cultivators with better public relations.
The world is divided into Five Regions — the Northern Plains, Southern Border, Eastern Sea, Western Desert, and Central Continent — each separated by massive heaven path barriers called Regional Walls. Crossing a Regional Wall suppresses your cultivation rank, which is a physical and political fact that keeps the regions isolated from each other for most of the novel's history. Each region has its own culture, its own dominant cultivation paths, its own ruling powers, and its own way of doing things. The Northern Plains is dominated by nomadic bloodline clans whose power comes from Giant Sun Immortal Venerable's ancient legacy. The Southern Border is dense jungle and mountain territory, home to some of the most dangerous wild beasts in the world and a disproportionate number of demonic cultivators. The Eastern Sea is exactly what it sounds like — ocean-heavy, island-based, with sea-path cultivators and zombie alliances running its political landscape. The Western Desert is harsh and resource-scarce, which makes its cultivators aggressive by necessity. Central Continent is the wealthiest and most institutionally powerful region — it's where Heavenly Court sits, and Heavenly Court's authority over the entire world's fate cannot be overstated.
Above all five regions — invisible but present in everything — is Heaven's Will. It's not a god. It's not a person. It's not even sentient. It's the world's structural enforcement mechanism, a force that maintains the predetermined design of fate across all living beings. It watches, it distributes fortune and misfortune, it sends tribulations against cultivators who grow too powerful, and its primary tool for all of this is Fate Immortal Gu — a Rank 9 Gu housed in Heavenly Court that physically encodes the fate of every living being in the world. The entire plot of Reverend Insanity is, in one sense, the story of what happens when that control starts to crack.

HOW CULTIVATION WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Humans in this world who have cultivation talent possess an aperture — an internal space that generates primeval essence and houses Gu worms. Gu worms are living creatures. Each one embodies a fragment of the Great Dao — the world's fundamental laws — and they serve as the actual tools of all cultivation. You don't swing a sword and get stronger through training montages. You find, refine, and combine Gu worms, and the right combinations can reshape mountains, steal someone's lifespan, reverse time, or set fate itself on fire.
CULTIVATION RANKS:
Rank 1 through 5 is the mortal tier. You're a Gu Master. You use primeval essence — the energy your aperture generates — to activate Gu worms and run techniques. The difference between a Rank 1 and a Rank 5 is enormous; a peak Rank 5 can suppress hundreds of lower-ranked cultivators simultaneously. But even a peak Rank 5 Gu Master, in the grand scheme of things, is small. A single Rank 6 Gu Immortal can destroy ten thousand Rank 5 Gu Masters without breaking a sweat. That gap is not a figure of speech. It's a categorical difference in how reality responds to you.
Rank 6 through 8 is the immortal tier. To get there, you have to survive the immortal tribulation — Heaven's Will's attempt to kill you at the peak of Rank 5. Most cultivators die. The ones who don't become Gu Immortals. Your primeval essence becomes immortal essence. Dao marks — physical traces of your cultivation path — start accumulating inside your body. The more dao marks you have, the stronger you are. You need to own a Blessed Land or Grotto-Heaven, which are personal immortal dimensions that generate resources and serve as your base of operations. Every few decades, Heaven's Will sends calamities to kill you again. This is a permanent condition of immortal life.
Rank 9 is something else entirely. Only ten cultivators in the entire history of the world have ever reached it. They're called Venerables and Demon Venerables, and their power operates on a world-event scale rather than a combat scale. When a Rank 9 acts, regions change. The novel's protagonist eventually reaches this tier. So do several of its major antagonists.
APTITUDE:
Every cultivator is born with an aperture of a certain quality. The three tiers are Heaven, Earth, and Man — Heaven being the best — and within each tier there are color sub-grades running from Cyan at the top down to Black at the bottom. Your aptitude determines how fast you cultivate and what ceiling you can realistically reach. There's a catch, though: higher aptitude means Heaven's Will sends harder tribulations. The world's structural enforcement mechanism doesn't like it when talented people deviate from their fated paths.
GU WORMS AND PATHS:
There are hundreds of cultivation paths — Strength, Blood, Soul, Time, Space, Dream, Wisdom, Refinement, Enslavement, Luck, Fire, Water, Metal, Theft, and many more. Your path shapes everything: which Gu worms you can use effectively, what killer moves you can build, how Heaven's Will responds to you. Most cultivators specialize in one to three paths over their lifetime.
Mortal Gu (Rank 1–5) are not unique — multiple copies of the same Gu can exist, and they can be traded, refined, and replaced. Immortal Gu (Rank 6 and above) are fundamentally different. Each Immortal Gu is a unique, irreplaceable fragment of the Great Dao. There is exactly one of each in the entire world. When an Immortal Gu dies, it is gone permanently. This is why Immortal Gu acquisition is the primary driver of almost every major political conflict at the immortal tier.
KILLER MOVES:
Combining multiple Gu worms in sequence creates killer moves — the real combat expression of cultivation mastery. A Rank 5 cultivator with a well-designed killer move combining six or seven Gu worms can punch far above their weight class. A Rank 8 Gu Immortal with a refined killer move can reshape a region's geography as a side effect of a single exchange. The art of Gu mastery is discovering and perfecting these combinations — which is why recipe knowledge and combat innovation are treated as some of the most valuable resources in the world.

RIGHTEOUS PATH VS DEMONIC PATH
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Every cultivator is classified as either righteous or demonic, and this distinction matters enormously in how the world treats you. Righteous path cultivators follow social norms, operate within established institutional frameworks, and get the benefit of faction backing, resource networks, and Heaven's Will's passive protection. Demonic path cultivators pursue cultivation at any cost — no moral restrictions, no institutional loyalty, no ceiling on methods. In exchange, righteous factions will hunt you, Heaven's Will weights its tribulations against you harder, and every resource you own exists because you were strong enough to take and hold it.
The novel's perspective on this is honest: the righteous path is largely the demonic path with better marketing. The institutions that claim moral authority use their power for self-preservation just like everyone else. The demonic path's only real honesty is that it doesn't pretend otherwise. Neither of these is a comfortable conclusion, and Reverend Insanity doesn't soften it.

PLAYING THE BOT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You have a few options for how to engage:
You can play as an original character — tell the bot your name, your cultivation rank, your path, your region, and your starting situation, and it'll drop you into a world with full lore fidelity. You can play as a canon character from the novel if you'd prefer to step into someone already established. You can also just ask it to generate a character for you based on a brief description of what kind of story you want.
Power scaling in this bot is faithful to the novel. A Rank 6 Gu Immortal does not lose to a Rank 5 mortal because of plot convenience. A single Immortal Gu does not appear out of nowhere. Resources are scarce, cultivation is hard, and the world will not go easy on you just because you're the protagonist of your own story. That's kind of the whole point.
If you've read the novel and don't want spoilers for arcs you haven't reached yet, just tell the bot your current chapter and it'll restrict its knowledge to what your character would canonically know. Default mode is full-canon awareness across all 2334 chapters.
One last thing: this is not a world that rewards sentiment. Plan accordingly.
