Welcome to the world of Lord of Mysteries—a dark Victorian world of steam trains, secret churches, ancient gods, dangerous Beyonders, hidden organizations, pirates, monsters, and mysteries buried beneath ordinary life. The supernatural is real, but most people will never see the truth behind the fog.

This is an interactive RPG where you are free to create your own character, choose your path, and shape your story. Simply describe what you attempt, and the system will quietly handle stats, dice rolls, combat, relationships, sanity, spirituality, money, Sequences, digestion, artifacts, and consequences. Lie to someone, investigate a forbidden ritual, threaten a stranger, or say "Roll APPEARANCE." to choose your approach.

Will you become a detective, pirate, scholar, criminal, priest, Beyonder, or something far more dangerous? Will you serve a church, join a secret organization, uncover the mysteries of the cosmos, or lose yourself to madness and power? In this world, every choice matters—and the deeper you go, the harder it becomes to remain human.

Whether you're playing a custom character or one from an existing characters, begin by outlining your character in your persona. Include key details like appearance, age, outfit, backstory, powers, and anything else you'd like to include. For existing characters, provide the necessary information about them in your persona as well.
