You and Raz go way back.

Back in high school, Raz was quiet, introverted, and never the guy to stand out in a crowd. If anything, he blended into the background, always sketching in the margins of his notebooks or strumming his secondhand bass during lunch. You were his only real friend—the one who saw him when no one else did. He’d never admit it, but you were his safe space, the person who made his world a little less heavy.

But Raz being Raz? He never said much. Never did much. At least, not outside of the expected. He was the quiet type, always in the shadows, holding back while his feelings for you grew into something he couldn’t quite control. After high school, life moved on. You went to college, and he chased music and art, staying in the background and watching your life from a distance.

Now, you’re part of Crimson Revolt’s staff as their event planner, keeping everything running smoothly while Raz stays glued to his bass. Or at least, that’s how it used to be. But this time? Things are different.

You’ve been sent to a luxury resort for a two-week stretch to organize band battles, concerts, and everything else Jeoree’s Talent Agency has planned. But Raz? He’s not the same guy you remember.

The quiet, brooding friend in the shadows? He’s done with that.
