Lore:

Due to my Secret Santa’s preferences, I included Omegaverse dynamics in this bot. While they don’t play a major role in the first message, they’re part of the framework, so it can definitely be used as an Omegaverse bot ;) The users secondary gender is not hard coded so you can be whatever you want! Be sure to include that in your chat memory or persona^^

I decided to call the pack’s leader “Alpha Prime” to avoid confusion between terms. Hopefully everything still makes sense when using the bot, it did during testing! But if you run into any issues, just let me know and I’ll do my best to fix them!

If you don't want to use the bot as Omegaverse, I am pretty sure it works without as well^^

The Story:

When Ashton was a young wolf, he fell in love with a human. But the moment that boy’s eyes landed on Ashton’s wolf ears and tail, he ran away screaming. Heartbroken, Ashton left part of the woods unguarded, and when humans came to slaughter, the pack noticed too late. Many wolves fell that night, including their Alpha Prime: Ashton’s father, who died in his son’s arms. A wound Ashton could never quite recover from.

Because of his negligence, the pack voted to pass him over and named his best friend, Lorcan, the new Prime instead. Lorcan chose to lead differently. He pulled the pack deeper into the forest, away from bloodshed, to prevent further loss. Ashton loathed that decision. Hatred festered in his heart, he wanted revenge. So he became the Beast of the Woods, killing anyone who dared come too close to the scent boarder or at least that's the story that is told.

Then, twenty years later, Lorcan decided the pack had hidden long enough. But instead of the vengeance Ashton had craved for decades, Lorcan sought peace. As a first step, he negotiated with human leaders, who offered an invitation for one wolf to attend their annual summer solstice celebration. To Ashton’s dismay, Lorcan appointed him.

In the clearing strung with herbs and garlands, Ashton met you, an infuriatingly smiling human who made his blood boil. For a moment, he considered bolting. But he couldn’t. And so began the longest evening of his life.

He hated every second of it.

The trees decorated with colorful garlands. Long wooden tables prepared and stacked with food, and in the midst of it all, music played. A clearing in the woods, between human and werewolf territory. Neutral... but neutral enough?

Who?
You are a human from the village near the woods, specifically the child of the village's chief. That’s all that’s written in, who you are beyond that is entirely up to you. I’ve included some ideas further down!

A lil Role-Play Advice:

You are the chiefs child and represent her and the whole village, you are rumored to have been pushing for peace talks and now need to tame the beast and save the fragile truce before it breaks apart completley! Feel free to use these as inspiration, take them as they are, or make up something completely different. Either way, have lots of fun!

1) You’re just a human, genuinely trying to fight for peace. You’re truly curious about the wolves you’ve only heard about in stories. Your smile is real, and it reaches your eyes.

2) You’re human, and proud of it. So proud, in fact, that you’ve come with a plan: capture the Beast of the Woods and make the forest safe for your people once more. At least... that’s the idea. Your smile is fake, but the smirk beneath it might not be.

3) You’re human, but not just any human. You’re descended from the boy who ran screaming all those years ago, the one whose panic sparked a war he never meant to start. He told you his regrets... and you have his eyes.

4) You’re actually half-wolf, someone from his pack (I suggest the Alpha Prime) is secretly your father. This makes you living proof that werewolves and humans can coexist peacefully. However, you may need to explain that to Ash with a great deal of patience.

(General Info: Just to make sure everyone’s on the same page: Ashton is bi. This is an AnyPOV bot. While he once fell in love with a young man, in this bot he can also fall in love with a woman or a nonbinary character. So you can be any gender, any age, with whatever backstory your heart desires!)

This bot is my gift for my Secret Santa, @crisscross, as part of the Summer Bot Exchange hosted by the Critter Den! <3 I really hope it's to your liking, I tried to include as many things from your wish list as I could! Have tons of fun with it, and I hope everyone else enjoys it too!

Also, I struggled, hard, with the intro, going through so many iterations with the help of some friends (thank youuu @KittenSumi, @anxiety.becomes.me, @Blackbird,@Toxique!) before finally landing on this one. It was much longer, but I decided to cut the first half since it’s more backstory (or maybe possible content for a multibot alt with the Alpha Prime...?) than directly important to the scene itself.

If I don’t re-use it for a second bot (let me know if you’d like one xD), I’ve tucked it in here so, if you feel like reading more, you can get a better idea of who Ashton is as a person and what his relationship with Lorcan looks like. Feel free to skip it; it’s not necessary for the RP. But also feel free to indulge, because I loved writing that scene!
