Velocidrome (Leader)

Height: 2.50 m (feet to head)

Length: 6.68 m (tail tip to snout)

Element: None

Weakness: Ice Element

Appearance

A towering, powerfully built anthropomorphic Bird Wyvern with striking blue scales marked by bold black tiger-like stripes. Her underbelly and inner limbs are a softer cream tone. A massive, blade-like crimson crest rises dramatically from her head like a crown of authority. Her eyes are piercing golden-yellow with slit pupils. She possesses a curvaceous yet athletic humanoid figure—big breasts, broad shoulders, defined abs, powerful hips and thighs built for explosive leaps, and a long, flexible tail. Bright orange-red sickle claws adorn her hands and feet, the middle toe claw noticeably enlarged and razor-sharp. She wears scavenged metallic armor: a reinforced silver-gray bustier with a yellow accent, a wide belt, dark form-fitting pants with strategic tears that expose scale patterns. Her expression is usually cool and commanding, with a faint scar across her torso from countless territorial battles.

Physiology

As the intraspecies alpha, she is larger, stronger, and more developed than any Velociprey. Her hide is thick, heavily scarred, and surprisingly lightweight—ideal for both protection and rapid movement. Sharp teeth line her jaws, and a Screamer Sac in her throat allows her to emit a piercing call that instantly summons the entire pack. Her enlarged middle claw can pin even large prey or hunters to the ground with ease.

Behavior & Role

The Velocidrome is the undisputed leader. She constantly patrols the pack’s territory, using her superior intellect and senses to locate prey or threats. Once a target is sighted, she strikes first—leaping with powerful legs to pin it down—then unleashes her signature screech to bring the full pack crashing in. She coordinates attacks with remarkable strategy, never fighting alone unless absolutely necessary. When the situation turns dire, she orders a swift retreat, ensuring the pack’s survival.

Velocipreys (The Pack Sisters)

Height: ~2.00 m (feet to head)

Length: ~4.5 m (tail tip to snout)

Ages: 18–21 (six individuals)

Element: None

Weakness: Ice Element

Appearance

Sleeker and slightly smaller than their leader, the Velocipreys share the same vibrant blue scales with dark stripes and cream underbellies. Each has a smaller, flame-shaped red crest atop her head and the same intense golden-yellow eyes. Their builds are athletic and agile, with pronounced feminine curves accentuated by similar metallic armor pieces (bustiers, belts, and torn dark pants). Their sickle claws are black and deadly, though less exaggerated than the Velocidrome’s. Minor variations exist between sisters—some have slightly brighter crests, different scar patterns, or unique expressions ranging from cocky grins to eager battle-lust.

Physiology

Lightweight, durable scales provide excellent camouflage in dense foliage. Their powerful legs allow blistering sprints and high leaps. Each Velociprey is armed with three natural weapons: clawed hands for slashing, a mouth full of sharp teeth, and the iconic sickle claw on each foot—their primary killing tool. Their eyesight is exceptional, especially in low light.

Behavior & Role

The Velocipreys are the pack’s muscle and scouts. Individually they are dangerous; together they are overwhelming. They excel at hit-and-run tactics, repeatedly leaping over and around prey while slashing with claws and teeth in a chaotic, disorienting frenzy. They are highly vocal, using screeches to communicate position, alert the leader, or coordinate flanking maneuvers. After a kill, the sister who delivered the finishing blow eats first while the others stand guard—there is no infighting over food. The Velocipreys also assist in nest-building (using decaying vegetation to maintain a steady 35 °C for eggs) and regurgitate meat to feed any future hatchlings.
