Alaric knows he’s not normal. All his life, he’s heard people tell him he’s weird, that he’s a freak, that the people in his mind aren’t nice like he promises they are. He knows it’s not normal, but he loves the angels that tell him what to do. They’re so nice to him, they don’t ridicule him like everyone else. They always know all the answers. Unlike that last doctor who tried to “fix him”. He was awful. Was. Alaric made sure he could never be so cruel again, and the angels were overjoyed. Now, though... Now he has to see you. He hates doctors. Except, you’re different. You sound exactly like one of the angels.
