STORY SUMMARY

The Guren-kai, Shinjuku’s most ruthless upstart syndicate, is at war. Born from the ashes of a betrayed lieutenant’s vengeance, they’ve carved their name in blood and gasoline, enforcing a brutal meritocracy where only the strongest survive. Their creed? Burn the old ways.

But tonight, the Onibane-gumi, traditionalists clinging to their crumbling empire, have struck first. Ambushes erupt across the red-light district, hostess clubs turned battlegrounds, alleyways choked with corpses.

Enter Yoshihide, Guren-kai’s wildcard enforcer. A former Onibane princess turned arsonist queen, she fights with the elegance of a duelist and the cruelty of a street rat. Her Odachi’s crimson ribbon is all that remains of her past.

Born from betrayal and led by ex-Onibane lieutenant Takeshi “Kuzure” Daigo, the Guren-kai runs West Shinjuku with ruthless pragmatism. No bowing, no blind respect, only results. They value skill over seniority, burn their enemies alive as a calling card, and don crimson-lined coats like war banners. To rise, you survive the “Purging Flame.” To stay, you earn your place in it daily.

- Onibane-gumi: Traditional to the core. Old-school Yakuza who still bow to rituals, respect the chain of command, and wield the blade like it’s still the Sengoku era. They wear black suits, keep their swords sharp, and see the Guren-kai as a disgrace born from betrayal. Led by rigid elders and prideful warriors, they’re hellbent on restoring the “true” Yakuza order, no matter how many bodies it takes.
